Brian Berthiaume established Brian's Painting Company in 1997. He was born in San Jose, California and moved to Bellingham were he was raised and learned to commercial fish in Alaska at the age of 15. He spent every summer in Alaska on purse seine vessels in Bristol Bay and False Pass untill he was 21. He moved to Wenatchee after high school to attend Wenatchee Valley College. There he meet his fiance and future wife Maurya Dunning at college and she gave him a decision to make, fishing or family. To Brian, the decision was easy, family would come first. After his fishing career ended he soon picked up a paintbrush, a trade he had learned in high school from his father a general contractor. He started painting friends' and families' homes and establishing his reputation. While studying business at Washington State University he painted in the summer and learned how businesses were run during the off season. Brian and Maurya Berthiaume have one child, Skylar, and are planning on living out their lives in the Wenatchee Area.
